An Evening with Friends...

An evening with friends indeed! Today me and Mom went over to Glamma Jill's and Grand-Pappy Doug's to hang out with my good friends Maggie, Mandy, Fanny and Brooklyn. We had so much fun! I love tearing up their big back yard and running around with my friends! How awesome that they get to run around back there every day - luckies!

Mom and Glamma had a hell of a time getting any decent pics of us...we were too excited to be still for the camera! Wanna meet my girlfriends? Well they're not my GIRLFRIENDS per se but their my friends and they all happen to be girls. My girlfriend is a big Golden Retriever named Dutchess. You'll meet her another time...I've got a big date planned with her for Christmas Eve...anyway, here are my friends who are girls:

This is Maggie; she's a Pekinese. She's about 1. She's the goofy one! She demands your attention. She's my best bud...

This is Mandy; she's a Pekinese too! She's the oldest one of the bunch. She's the regal one. She likes to observe from above but she'll get in on a game of chase or two with me and Maggie!

This is Fanny; she's a 3 pound Yorkie. She's the hyper one! She thinks she's the biggest but she's the smallest. She barks and barks when we play chase but mostly she just gets trampled by Maggie.

This is Brooklyn, the other Yorkie. This little doll is sweet and kind of a loner. She doesn't play chase with us but she'll watch from the sidelines. She had the squirts tonight.

Well I'm totally tuckered out from such vigorous play...that Maggie is a tough one to keep up with! I'm gonna crash...Night-Night!

Hedgie and Me

This is my good buddy Hedgie the Hedgehog. I love him so much more than my bone, my taxi and even my kitty. He's the best. I love how he rolls...he's starting to smell a little offensive though. Yesterday when Mom was on the phone with Grand-Pappy Doug, Dad gave her a rolled up peice of toilet paper. She looked confused until he motioned for her to open it. She slowly unrolled the toilet paper to reveal a dark, wet little object. It was shaped just like the toe from The Big Lebowski (I think that's what Dad was going for with the whole toilet paper thing). Mom just stared at it, confused, with the phone receiver to her ear, until Dad shouted out "Hedgie's Arm!".

I forgot that I had gnawed off Hedgie's arm and hid it in the bathroom! Now he has no arms (oh yeah, I chewed the other one off too but it's gone missing)...which reminds me, I haven't seen him yet today. I'll post again later, I'm going to go find that armless scallywag...

A Long Day...

This is me after a long day...

Dad and I went to the Vet this morning and that wasn't very fun at all. In fact if you ask me the doctor was downright inappropriate. I know he had to get my temperature but come on! Not a pleasent experience but Dad said I did real good and I'm healthy which is a relief.

Now as you can see I'm all tuckered out from the day which makes sense becasue it's WAY past my bedtime. I know I look scared in this picture but that's just because Dad dropped a bottle cap on the floor right when Mom was taking a picture of me. Scared the bejaysus outta me!

Hangin' at Home

Check it out - I'm a lapdog! We just hung out at home last night...pretty mellow for a Friday night. I only like to be on my people's lap when they're at the computer. I think they like it too except Mom gets annoyed when I lick the desk. Nothing exciting really, I just wanted to post this pic cuz I thought it was funny.

Thanksgiving in the City

I had been home for less than 2 weeks and Mom and Dad already threw a party! I thought it was kinda like a "Coming Home" party for me but it turned out to just be Thanksgiving. Whatever, it was still really fun! I only knew a couple people (Gramma Julie and Glamma Jill and Grand-Pappy Doug) but everyone was really nice. Everyone loved me and was so impressed by my manners...I can't help it, I'm just that kind of guy. My bitchin' underbite always impresses the ladies and I was a big hit.

At one point Uncle Rob offered me some turkey from the table. I wasn't even sure what to do, I always eat out of my dog bowl. I reluctantly took the turkey from him and ate it all up. Later on Mom found out what had happened and she was totally pissed. I haven't been fed from the table since so I guess I'll just have to wait until Uncle Rob comes over again.

Everyone finally left and I was pooped...I was so grateful to spend Thanksgiving '07 with my new family and friends!

Coming Home for the Holidays

Check out this picture of me and my new Dad...this picture was taken the day they decided to adopt me (November 3)! I was in the care of a nice lady named Jane from Critters in Need Pet Rescue and it was just another Saturday at the Pet Smart. I heard Jane saying that there was a nice couple there to meet Westly and Jasper (two terrier rascals available for adoption from Critters). But I was in luck because she brought me out first! I put on my best snaggletoothed smile and trotted over to my pen. Man, I had those suckers at first sight! All I had to do was stand up on my hind legs and wave one paw in the air...DONE! I sealed the deal a little later by leaping into my future Dad's lap and gently licking his arm. Anyway, they signed a contract to adopt me right then and there. I had to go back to Jane's house for the next week because Mom and Dad weren't ready to take me home yet but that was cool with me because I wanted to spend a little quality time with Jane and say goodbye to Westly and Jasper. I still chuckle when I think of those two schoundrels!
